The Butterfly House at Blenheim also breed butterflies, they have two glass cabinets full of chrysalis at varying stages of the transformation including butterflies that have emerged from their protective cocoon.
A fabulous educational tool.
It is not easy taking photos through glass. However, I managed to photograph two that were spectacular shapes and colours, like extraterrestrial beings. Bx
