A Magical Day at Montacute House Somerset

A magical day at Montacute House Somerset, a towering and stunning example of Elizabethan Renaissance architecture, built in 1601. Beautiful gardens surround the house, Cedar trees, topiary and stone architectural features add formality. Surprising narrow corridors of tall yew hedges hide flower beds and frame sections of the house.

One of my favorite National Trust properties has influenced my childrens novel I am publishing, how can it not!
Scenes from the BBC drama series Wolf Hall, The Libertines and Sense & Sensibility were filmed here.Bx
